SCOTCH PINE, Pinus sylvestris – A fast growing tree with long needles. Excellent Christmas tree if sheared annually. Prefers well-drained sandy soils. Grows well throughout NH. Seedling height: 4-10 inches. Mature height: 60-90 feet. Shipments of scotch pine may be restricted to certain states. Please check local laws before ordering.
