Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

The New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery understands purchasing seedlings online limits our Customer’s ability to see the product prior to the purchase. The New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery makes every effort possible to deliver the highest quality products. We provide information about our process and tips for helping seedlings survive and thrive here.

Refunds

The New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery does not provide refunds for seedlings that fail due to improper planting techniques or inadequate care. Please see our survival tips for more information.

In the event that the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery is unable to fulfill a completed order due to a lack of available inventory, then the Customer will receive a full refund. Customers will be provided the option to substitute a similar species of their choice in lieu of a refund.

If you are eligible for a refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

Banks and Credit Card Providers vary in the length of time it takes to post a credit. If you have not received your refund yet, please contact your Credit Card Provider or Bank before reaching out the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery. If you are checking an online bank or credit card portal, note that not all portals display pending transactions.

If your Credit Card Provider or Bank has confirmed that there is no pending or posted refund, then please contact the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery using the Contact Us form on the site for assistance.

Order Cancellation

Our normal season spans late November through early May. Orders cancelled prior to March 1st in the current season are eligible for a full refund. Orders cancelled after the March 1st deadline are not eligible for a refund.

Shipping Damage

The New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands State Forest Nursery assumes no liability for loss or damage of seedlings during shipping or transport. Customers should contact UPS directly.
