BLUE SPRUCE, Picea pungens – Native to the Rocky Mountains of the Western United States. Beautiful blue-green color makes this a popular tree for landscaping, screens, windbreaks, and Christmas trees. Has good needle retention. Prefers moist, well-drained soils. Seedling height: 7-12 inches. Mature height: 60-80 feet.
