Description
SUGAR MAPLE, Acer saccharum – A New England staple, this tree is well known for its brilliant yellow or orange foliage in the fall, and its use for production of maple syrup. It is also a valuable for its lumber which is used in furniture, flooring and veneer products. Prefers moist, well-drained loamy soils and grows well throughout NH. Seedling height: 5-10 inches. Mature tree height: 70-80 feet. Maximum of 25 seedlings per customer.
