Description
PUSSY WILLOW, Salix discolor – Popular species for its white, furry catkins in early spring before leaf-out. Grows best in wet soils, with full sun. If left unpruned, shrubs can grow up to 20 feet tall. Due to the invasive tendencies of the roots, do not plant near wells, sewer, or septic pipes.
