Description
EUROPEAN LARCH, Larix decidua – Native to the Alps and Caucasian Mountains, European larch is a “deciduous conifer” similar to American larch. It has vivid green foliage during the growing season, which turns a brilliant yellow or orange color in the fall before dropping. A very fast growing tree. Requires soils that are well drained, does not like wet soils like American larch, or very dry soils.
