Description
ELDERBERRY, COMMON, Sambucus canadensis – Soil/site: tolerant of wet to dry. Uses: screens or shrub borders planted 4-8 feet apart; Wildlife value: favored by squirrels, deer and migrating songbirds; Fruit: August-October. Mature height: to 10 feet. Seedlings may be less than 6 inches or rootstock.
