Description
BUTTONBUSH, Cephalanthus occidentalis – Soil/site: wet, pond edges. Flowers mid to late summer; Fruit: favored source of food for waterfowl as well as several songbird & wildlife species. Wildlife value: flowers are a favorite of honeybees and butterflies. Mature height: 3-8 feet.
